Maeil, since its establishment with government support in 1969, has conducted two comprehensive dairy projects for the past 10 years, turning deserted lands into pastures and built a firm foundation for the nation's dairy industry by introducing well-bred dairy cow of 20,000 heads from the US, New Zealand and Canada and by distributing them to some 3,000 dairy farms.

Further more, Maeil has been providing series of training to farmers and developing the dairy industry though incessant R&D.
